Ich wurde 1977 geboren und wohne mit meiner Frau und meinen beiden Töchtern seit 2013 im Westen von München. Neben meiner Familie und Freunden beschäftige ich mich in meiner Freizeit gerne mit CrossFit, Schach und unserem Garten.
I was born in 1977 and live with my wife and my two daughters since 2013 in the West of Munich. In addition to my family and friends, I like to spend my free time with CrossFit, chess and gardening.
Nach dem Informatik Studium habe ich 5 Jahre als Softwareentwickler in der Medizintechnik gearbeitet. Seit über 10 Jahren leite ich agile Teams von Softwareingenieuren. Nach vielen Jahren aktiver Softwareentwicklung hat sich meine Rolle in den letzten Jahren immer weiter in Richtung Projektmanagement, Product Owner und Scrum Master entwickelt. Nebenbei halte ich interne Schulungen zum Thema Scrum und agilen Methoden und helfe anderen Teams in diesem Bereich. Dazu gehört auch die Einführung, das Training und die Unterstützung bei der Nutzung von Atlassian Jira als Hilfsmittel für effektives, agiles Projektmanagement.
After finishing my studies in technical computer science, I worked for 5 years as a software engineer in medical technology. For more than 10 years I am leading agile teams of software engineers. After developing software for many years, my role developed in the direction of project management, product ownership and being a Scrum Master in the last years. In parallel, I give internal training about Scrum and agile methodologies and support other teams in this area. This includes the introduction, training, and support of Atlassian Jira as a valuable tool for effective, agile project management.
Ich bin der festen Überzeugung, dass nicht nur die Leistung und das Potential der einzelnen Teammitglieder für den Erfolg eines Teams verantwortlich sind. Mein Ziel ist es, mit meinem Team eine gemeinsame Vision zu entwickeln und diese mit klaren Prozessen in einer angenehmen Arbeitsatmosphäre umzusetzen. Der große Reiz an der Rolle des Teamleiters ist für mich die Möglichkeit, das Team weiterzuentwickeln und Kommunikation und Miteinander über Hierarchien und Karriereziele zu stellen. Nicht zuletzt ist mir sehr wichtig, dass meinem Team und mir die Arbeit Spaß macht.
I firmly believe that it is not just the performance and potential of individual team members that are responsible for a team's success. My goal is to create a common vision together with my team and to implement it with clear processes in a pleasant working atmosphere. The great attraction of the role of the team leader for me is the opportunity to develop the team further and to place communication and cooperation above hierarchies and career goals. Last but not least, it is very important to me that my team and I enjoy our work in general.
